League parents and family members will be responsible for volunteering to work a shift in the snack bar. Prior to the season starting, a family may pay a $30 per shift fee to buy out of snack bar duty. Workers must be 14 years or older to work an assigned shift at Amerige. Workers must be 16 years or older to work a shift at Richman, unless accompanied by an adult.
Once the schedules for the season are set, there will be a two week window for all families who have not bought out of snack bar duty before the season starts to reserve a time to work the snack bar. At the end of the two week window, all families who have not signed up for a slot will be assigned a time to work. If the time assigned will not work for the family, they will have the option to buy out of snack bar duty. In season buy outs must contact the Snack Bar Coordinator one week prior to the assigned shift, and pay the $40 in season buy out fee.
If you do not show up for your assigned shift or if the policy is not followed you will be charged a $50.00 No-show fee.
Please inform your team parent if you want to buyout. The team parent will then contact the Snack Bar Coordinator who will help find a replacement. The $40 in season buy out fee must be paid in cash to the Snack Bar Coordinator a minimum of one (1) week prior to the shift that is being bought out.
There will be no children under the age of 14 in the snack bar or at the doorway at any time.
No one, other than those working the snack bar or board members, is allowed in the snack bar at any time.
The last shift of the day must stay until the snack bar is completely clean. Dishes washed, utensil’s put away, Drinks and snacks restocked, counters washed and floor swept. An executive board member will collect all money from the snack stand and is responsible for turning money in to the treasurer.
